James Langston is a retired naval officer, and an ordained and licensed minister of the gospel through World Evangelism Fellowship. In addition to his duties as senior pastor of the Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, he conducts street ministries, preaches in prisons and revival meetings, and teaches in ministerial workshops.
James and his wife Cecilia have been married for more than 30-years and have six children and eight grandchildren. They live overseas in Italy.
Vision: James’ call and vision is to “. . . go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature . . .” (Mark 16:15). As he obediently carries out this call, James is seeing God change lives and give hope and meaning to the lives of untold thousands. James is the founder of the Pilgrim Outreach Ministries, based in CastleVolturno, Italy.
Destiny: James began the Pilgrim Outreach Ministries in 1998 with a handful of folks. Yet, from this small body, thousands have heard the gospel through television, the Internet, revival and street meetings and ministerial workshops. James’ fresh and inspiring messages transcend racial lines and are being spread by word-of-mouth to all.
Author: Pastor Langston has authored five books, GrandMamma’s Prayers, The Building of a Church, Out of the Ashes, Okay, I'm Saved, Now What? and And The People Cried, "Give Us A King!" All are available at,
